Chepalu Pulusu

Ingredients :
                   fish - kilo ,clean and cut
                   onion - 3 (ground into paste )
                   tamarind paste - 4 table spoons
                   salt to taste
                   red chilly powder -2 table spoons
                   masala powder - 2 tea spoons ( mixed powder of cardamom ,cloves and cinnamon)
                   turmeric powder - 2 tea spoons
                   oil - 6 table spoons
Seasoning - 2 red chillies , 1 tea spoon cumin seeds , 1 tea spoon fenu greek seeds, 1 tea spoon mustard seeds , curry leaves ,coriander leaves .
cook this in a flat pan ,for extra taste you can add raw mango pieces.
METHOD : apply 2 table spoons of salt and 1 table spoon of turmeric powder to fish pieces before cleaning ,keep aside for 2 minutes and wash ,this is to remove bad smell of fish . in cooking pan heat oil add seasoning , fry for 1 minute add onion paste ,fry on low flame for 5 minutes ,add salt ,red chilly powder ,turmeric powder , fry for 2 more minutes add fish pieces and fry for 2 minutes add tamarind  paste , masala powder and 4 glasses of water and cook for 15 minute on low flame.while stirring take care not break fish pieces. it would be better use flat spoon .
