Dondakaya pachadi

Ingredients :dondakayalu (tindoora)- 1/4 kilo ,wash and cut into pieces
                    green chillies -- 10 to 15 ,clean and cut into halves
                    tamarind paste --1table spoon
                    salt to taste ,1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
                    Bengal gram Dal -- 1 tablespoon
                    coriander seeds 1 tablespoon
                    cumin seeds  -  1 table spoon
                    black gram Dal --  1 tablespoon
                    coriander leaves (optional0
                    garlic -  6 pods
                    oil
seasoning -- 1 teaspoon -- mustard seeds, 1 teaspoon - cumin seeds , pinch of asefotida , 2 red chillies: ,1/2 teaspoon black gram Dal,curry leaves
METHOD: in a pan heat 1 table spoon oil ,add Bengal gram Dal,black gram Dal,coriander seeds ,cumin seeds,green chillies  and fry for 5 minutes on low flame, remove into plate and in the same pan heat 1 table spoon oil and add dondakaya pieces and fry for 10 minutes on low flame and add coriander leaves ,and fry for 2 more minutes .let it cool and in mixer jar add dondakaya pieces ,fried Dal's ,salt ,garlic pods and tamarind paste .run mixer to make paste.in a pan heat 1 table spoon oil add seasoning ,fry for 1 minute ,now add ground chutney and turn off fire.
