Ingredients : bendakaya (ladies finger ) -1/4 kilo

tamarind paste - 2 teaspoons
red chilly powder - 2 teaspoons
salt to taste
turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
jaggary -- 2 table spoon
oil for seasoning-3 table spoons
Seasoning : 2 red chillies , 1 teaspoon cumin seeds , 1 teaspoon black gram Dal, 5 garlic pods,curry leaves
METHOD : clean and cut bendakay into 1/2 inch long pieces ,add chopped onion , salt, red chilly powder , turmeric powder, tamarind paste, jaggary and add 1 cup water cook on low flame till thickens , add seasoning .
