Semya Upma

Ingredients --
semya -- 1 glass
salt to taste
green chillies -4 cut into pieces
onion -- 1 peel and cut
potato -1 peel and cut
carrot -- 1 (peel and grate)
water -- 2 glasses
ghee or oil-- 3 table spoons
coriander leaves for garnishing
seasoning - cashew nuts -- 2 table spoons ,1 table spoon black gram dal, 1 teaspoon cumin seeds,
1 teaspoon mustard seeds,curry leaves
METHOD -- heat pan and add ghee let it heat, add potato ,carrot and fry on low flame for 2 minutes,add seasoning ,fry add onion ,green chillies ,fry for 1 minute add semiya and fry for 2 minutes add salt and 2 glasses boiling water ,cook till done on low flame with the lid on.garnish with coriander leaves .turn off fire .you can add 2 tea spoons lime juice,when serving if you want
