Ingredients :
1/2 litre curd -add half litre water and make buttermilk
green gram Dal - 1 tablespoon
rice - 1 tablespoon
onions -2
tomato -1
green chillies -4
ladies finger -2
brinjal - 1
coriander powder -1 tablespoon
salt to taste
pinch of turmeric powder
for seasoning : 2 table spoon oil,2 red chillies,1 teaspoon mustard seeds , 1teaspoon cumin seeds,1/2teaspoon fenugreek seeds,4 pods garlic ,pinch of asefotida ,curry leaves ,coriander leaves
METHOD:
soak rice and green gram Dal for 1/2 hour and grind into a fine paste and keep aside.wash and cut all vegetables ,onion and green chillies and cook them in a vessel adding some water till soft.in a thick bottomed vessel pour buttermilk add cooked vegetables ,green gram paste ,coriander powder,salt and turmeric powder mix well and keep on stove on low flame and keep stirring till it start boiling,when it start boiling you can stop stirring and let it boil for 5 minutes ,add seasoning and turn off fire .
