Boodidha Gummadi(Ash Gourd) Vadiyalu

ash gourd  -   1  (big size)

green chilly  - 1\4   kilo

red chilly    -- 100 gms

black gram dal    ---   2 glasses

sabudhana       --   1  glass

ginger            --           100gms

salt to taste

turmeric powder -- 1 pinch

if you want to prepare vadiyams in the morning

that night you should wash and cut ash gourd

to ash gourd pieces add little turmeric powder,and 1 cup of salt

mix well put the pieces in a thin cloth and tie 

keep some weight on that ,you can keep a water filled bucket 

so that extra water in the pieces will go off till morning

soak dal overnight

in the morning grind dal into paste as for garelu

paste ginger and green and red chilly

to ash gourd pieces add ground dal paste, ginger chilly paste, sabodana mix well

you can add more salt as for your taste

keep vadiyams on a plastic sheet or wet cloth

sun dry for 4  -  5 days
