Ingredients :
beet root --- 1/4 kilo
onion -- 1 green chillies -- 6
salt to taste
oil ---- 2 table spoons
pinch of turmeric powder
seasoning -- 2 red chillies , 1 tea spoon black gram Dal , 1/4 tea spoon cumin seeds , 6 garlic pods , curry leaves
METHOD - peel ,wash and cut beet root into small pieces , cut onion and , green chilly .in a pan heat oil add seasoning and fry for a minute,add onion and green chilly and fry till transparent ,now add beet root ,salt and turmeric, and cook on low flame with the lid on. add a little water and cook till done.
